What I Do With What You Send Me
Short version: I use it to do the job you asked about, I don't sell it, and you shouldn't send me anything secret through a web form. The longer version is below.
What's collected
If you use the request form on this site, I receive what you type: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, the city, the type of job, and your message. The form also records the time it was sent and the internet address it came from, which is used only to filter out spam.
If you call or text, your number shows up on my phone like any other call. This website itself doesn't set tracking cookies and doesn't include advertising scripts. The day/night switch in the menu remembers your choice on your own device only; nothing about it is sent anywhere.
What it's used for
To answer your question, quote the job, schedule it and do it. I keep messages and invoices as ordinary business records. I don't sell your details, I don't pass them to marketing companies, and I don't add you to a mailing list.
What not to send
Please don't put alarm codes, safe combinations, gate codes, passwords or payment card numbers in the form or in a text. I don't need them ahead of time, and a web form is not the place for them. If a job needs a code, tell me in person.
Who else touches it
This website is hosted by Bluehost, and email is handled by Google Workspace. Both process the technical side of delivering a message according to their own privacy policies. The map on some pages is loaded from Google only if you tap to open it.
Your choices
You can always call instead of using the form. If you'd like something you sent deleted, email info@caringlock.com or call (559) 862-5852 and I'll take care of it, apart from records I'm required to keep for accounting.
