Commercial locksmith

Commercial Locksmith for Shops, Offices and Facilities

Who can open which door, and can you prove it? That's the whole job. Master key systems, keys that can't be copied at a kiosk, keypads and fobs, storefront hardware that actually latches, and safes. I work around your hours, and I'm the same person every time.

What I handle

Commercial services

Business lockouts

Can't open before the morning rush, or the only key-holder is unreachable. Storefront, office and back doors opened cleanly, 24 hours a day.

Emergency

Master key systems

One key for the owner, one for each manager, one per staff member that only opens their doors. Designed, cut, installed and documented.

Master key systems

Restricted & high-security keys

Keyways whose blanks aren't sold to the public. Nobody copies your key at a hardware store; every copy comes through me, with your sign-off.

Keypads, fobs & access control

Keypad locks, fob and card readers. Staff leave, you delete a code — no rekey. Supplied, installed and set up on standalone doors.

Storefront & panic hardware

Aluminum storefront locks, panic bars and exit devices, closers, back-door deadbolts. Fitted so the door latches every time, not most of the time.

Rekeying for staff & tenant changes

A manager leaves, a tenant moves out, a key goes missing. Rekeyed the same day, after hours if you prefer, with the new keys handed to the right people.

Lock repair & replacement

Cylinders, levers, mortise locks and deadbolts on commercial doors. Repaired where the hardware is sound, replaced where it isn't.

Safes & vaults

Opened, repaired, combinations changed, electronic locks replaced, new safes installed and bolted down.

Safes and vaults

Property managers & landlords

Multi-unit buildings, rekeys between tenancies, keyed-alike sets, master keys for maintenance, and a locksmith who answers at midnight.

Access control

Keypads and fobs without the enterprise price tag

You don't need a server room to stop handing out keys.

A standalone keypad or fob lock on the staff door means nobody carries a key that can be copied, and when someone leaves you delete their code instead of rekeying. It's the single most common upgrade I do for small businesses, and it usually takes an afternoon.

  • Keypad levers and deadbolts for interior and exterior doors
  • Fob and card readers for staff entrances
  • Mechanical push-button locks where you don't want batteries
  • Combined with a master key system, so there's always a physical override

For planned work

What helps me quote a bigger job accurately

  • Door count — exterior, interior, storage, restricted areas. A rough floor plan sketch is gold.
  • Who needs to open what — owner, managers, staff, cleaners, tenants, a maintenance contractor.
  • What's on the doors now — photos of the locks by text are enough. Brand names on the face of the cylinder help.
  • Timing — after hours, a weekend, between tenants. I'll work around the business, not through it.

For a lockout or a single door, none of that matters. Just call.

Commercial questions

What people ask

Can you stop staff copying our keys?

Yes — with restricted or patent-protected keyways. Those blanks aren't sold to the public and can't be duplicated at a hardware store or a kiosk. Copies come from me, with your authorization, and I keep a record of how many exist.

Do you work outside business hours?

Yes. Rekeys and installs can be scheduled after closing so the shop or office is never disrupted, and lockouts are handled 24 hours a day.

We're a small shop. Is a master key system overkill?

Not if you've got more than two doors and more than one person with keys. Even a three-door system — front, back, office — means staff can open what they need and nothing else, and you still carry one key.

What do you need to open a business after hours?

Something showing you're entitled to be there — a business license, a lease, a card with the business name, or the owner confirming by phone. Same rule as a house, for the same reason.

Locked out, or need it sorted today?

Call me directly. I answer my own phone, day or night — and I'll give you an honest arrival time and a price before I set out.
